NetBotz Surveillance
lets IT managers monitor who enters their IT facilities and track
what they do while they’re there. This server based software acts
as a central repository for pictures captured by the NetBotz
monitoring appliances, and it provides users with options to
quickly access “surveillance events” logged by date and time, and
play movie-like clips of those events. Also, up to 25 live
thumbnail images from NetBotz appliances can be displayed
continuously. This application runs on the NetBotz Central server.
WallBotz 500
Extended Storage System Retain up to 6 months (or
5000 alerts) of alert and sensor data on your WallBotz 500 with
the WallBotz 500 Extended Storage System, which combines the
Extended Storage software with a 60GB external USB hard drive.
Graphs can cover up to 6 months rather than the standard 24-hour
limit. If the WallBotz 500 is rebooted, the data is retained since
disc storage is persistent. A mounting bracket and USB cable for
the drive are included.
NetBotz
Advanced Device Crawlers
is the first monitoring technology to give IT professionals easy
and secure cross-platform access to the physical
micro-environments-the internal vitals-within servers, switches,
routers, UPS and other network devices. These data, including
information such as CPU temperature, fan speed and power supply
status, are found in a vendor's extended SNMP MIB (Management
Information Base). You can set alert thresholds, for example on
battery power remaining for a UPS. (Available for 310 and 400
Model NetBotz appliances)
NetBotz Branch Checker
software, which runs on NetBotz monitoring appliances, provides IT
managers with an easy-to-use tool for monitoring round-trip
connectivity from the branch to the central site, and ensures that
critical resources such as DNS, Mail and Web servers are
available. Alerts are sent via E-mail. (Available for 310 and 400
Model NetBotz appliances)
Camera Motion Sensor:
The Camera Motion Sensor software add-on enables NetBotz Model 310
appliances to sense motion with their built-in camera. The
combination of user-specified motion sensitivity and
duration-of-motion settings determine the level of motion that
will trigger an alert. Like other NetBotz alerts, Camera Motion
Sensor alerts trigger alert E-mails, SNMP traps, and appear in
NetBotz Central Alerts View. The Camera Motion Sensor is standard
on 400 model appliances.
Camera Enhancements:
This optional software module enhances the image capture functions
of the WallBotz 310 and RackBotz 310, enabling them to capture up
to 5 images per second and to retain up to 60 pictures per alert
event (up to 80 per alert event on 400 series appliances). You can
also specify a number of pictures to be captured before the alert,
so you can see what caused the alert to occur. The features in the
Camera Enhancements for 310 modules are standard features for
NetBotz 400 Model appliances.
