The RackBotz 310 is a rack-mountable, web-accessible, network appliance that checks the internal environment conditions of an equipment cabinet including temperature, humidity, and airflow. Alarms providing you with advance warning of equipment failure are sent via e-mail and/or SNMP trap when a condition is out of range. A built-in camera records individuals accessing the rack or cabinet and allows both the customer and technician to easily view the condition of equipment via an automatically generated web page. Door switch alerts are sent with pictures showing who opened the cabinet door. Three external sensor ports are available for optional add-on sensors, including NetBotz amperage level and external temperature sensors, as well as third-party dry contact sensors for detection of condensation, glass break, vibration, and more. The RackBotz is SNMP compliant, appearing as an object within your existing network management system. Alerts and sensor data can be posted to web servers using built-in HTTP post support, and can be forwarded to other systems using FTP posting.

The RackBotz 310 is capable of running these NetBotz add-on software applications and modules: NetBotz Branch Checker, NetBotz Device Crawlers, and Camera Motion Sensor

The high-end RackBotz 400 includes all features of the RackBotz 310, and has seven external sensor ports for connecting NetBotz add-on sensors and third-party dry contact devices. Camera Enhancements software is included, allowing up to 80 pictures per alert notification and fast image capture rates. Also included is Camera Motion Sensor software - when motion is sensed, the pictures embedded in the alert e-mails include a visible outline showing the area of motion. The RackBotz 400 comes with NetBotz Device Crawlers software for monitoring status of your equipment.

NetBotz Branch Checker is available as an add-on application for the RackBotz 400.
